End of a era

Last night a few streaks came to a end that I want to quickly touch one

-MSU- 28 game home winning streak, Northwestern never wining in Breslin, undefeated in conference. All of those things, gone. I truly believe MSU will be fine, and I do think they will win the big ten, it is a very good conference and 3 or even 4 losses could easily win it. But to lose to Northwestern, at home, who has never won at Breslin, that building is over 20 years old, was shocking. Northwestern just had one of those nights that make basketball fun, it just takes one game, you don't need to beat them 4 out of 7 in college, it is one night, and anyone can beat anyone, when your shots are falling and the other team can hit anything. Plus you have 7 turnovers to their 18. MSU will bounce back and be fine

-Wake- Undefeated, and number one, no more. As long as Duke doesn't lose Saturday to Maryland they will be your new number one. Wake is still a good team, though I don't think they are a top 5 team, but we shall see. Va Tech seems to have one or two big wins in conference every year and wining at Wake is one of them for sure. That is the other thing that is surprising, just like the MSU game, the better, ranked, favored team lost at home.

-Clemson- is so overrated, it happens every year, they play no one, get to 14 or 15-0 and then conference season starts. It happened last year, and they didn't even make the big dance. Now last night losing to UNC on the road is not a bad loss, but I just want to make sure everyone is clear where I stand on their basketball team, not good. Maybe they will make the ncaa tourney this year, but I don't think so, I see them still losing to duke, Maryland, va tech and maybe even free shoe, if they play them on the road.

-NJIT- This was the big one, no really, 51 losses in a row and it was snapped last night, way to go guys, nice win, and their next game is against long wood, who is the team they got their last win against before last night.... could a wining streak be started... nah.

The ends of the Marshall and South Car games last night were both very exciting, thank god for sports center.

West Virginia just beat G-town at G-town, I am reminded of what I said early about them, they have a great starting 5, but no bench, and I think that will coast them during a long and very hard big east season. I try to tell you people, it isn't my fault if you don't lsten.

Purude also beat Min on the road, Min is a nice story, Tubby has done a great job with them, and they did beat Louis, but they are going to need to get some big conference wins, or they will be on the outside looking in, or in other words, NIT bound.

Pistons played well and beat up on the Raptors last night, as RIP came off the bench for the first time in his Pistons career. The All star Starters were also announced, no big surprises.

More on that later. I'm right, you're wrong
