A fresh start for Phillips

Note: This is the second of I don't know how many, articles I will write about my fantasy team, as it is real life. This one is about my team called d lee 4 mvp)

With a average below 200, and 2 home runes and only 7 rbi's it was time for a change. Brandon Phillips was released. And even though D lee 4 mvp's team was strong offensively manager Steve Schwanda knew he had to pull the trigger. Well so far so good, for Schwanda and his team, as Phillips has helped get them to the top of the league, and they have been either first or second ever since. Today they sit in second place, but only one game back of first. " I knew Phillips was going to be fine, he is a great player," Said Schwanda, "we just told him we have faith in him and he will be our every day second baseman for the rest of the year." Phillips has responded by hitting 352 in May, with 7 long balls and 29 RBIs. So far in June he hasn't slowed yet, as he already has one home run and 5 rbis, in 7 games, plus he already have a triple and two doubles. The move has worked so far, and Schwanda is confident it will continue. "our offense is scary good, when everyone is 100%. He have Adrian at 1st, Brandon at 2nd, Evan at 3rd, Hanley at short, and a outfield of vlad, alfanso, jason bay and adam dun. Plus Figgins and D Lee for our utility spots. It is really just a question of me putting the right guys out there each day." One thing is for sure, if Phillips keeps playing the way he has been, he will continue to find his name penciled in every day. "That is the plain right now, Figgins can play second, but as of now, Phillips is our second baseman, and I am planing on it, staying that way." Sometimes all you need is a change of scenery to break you out of a slump. I'm right, you're wrong
