conference shake up and USC

First the black hawks won the cup last night, their first since 1961, so congrats to them and their long surfing fans, as much as I don't like that team.

It is all but 100% that Nebraska will join the big 10 and Colorado will join the pac 10. The big question is are either conference done. I could see the big 10 just adding one to get to 12 and have a conference title game, having two divisions, one with Nebraska, ILl, northwestern, Minn, Wis, and Iowa, and then another with msu, Michigan, IU, OSU, PSU and Purdue. The pac 10 would have to add at least one more you would think, and not keep 11, but then of course there is the whole, Mizzu, ND, cuse and Rutgers joining the big 10 to make 16, and Texas, ok, a&m, tech, and Baylor all joining the pac 10 to make 16. The SEC then takes da U, free shoe and va tech from the ACC, the ACC takes what ever is left of the big east, and the big east then takes the best from conference usa, and so on and so forth... should be a fun couple of days and weeks. I will wait until it is all played out to get too much more in to it.

USC will have a postseason ban for two years as well as lose scholarships. Still wanted to leave Tenn Lane? They may also have their national title taking away from 2004, we shall see. The larger problem is that coaches are allowed to jump ship at the right time, and go to a new school and get more money, while their old school and old players have to deal with the problems that were caused by them. We call this the Calaperi rule.

Tigers play the white sox this afternoon in the rubber game of their 3 game series, it would be big to come away with a series win, since playing well in Chicago is not something that they normally do.

Game 4 of the NBA finals tonight, I see the Celtics bouncing back and winning tonight 86-75. The Lakers will then win games 5 and 6 to end the series.

It was reported by a "source" that Tom Izzo is close to taking the Cavs job. I still don't see it happening and think it would be a very bad move. I'm right, you're wrong.
