4-3

What a bad night, Things were going good, Wings were up 2-0, then 3-1, Tigers were down 2-0, came back to tie it at 2, then down 3-2, they tied it at 3 going to the bottom of the 9th. Then within a few minutes of each other, the Tigers lost on a wild pitch, and the Wings lost on a OT 2 on 1. Both teams lost 4-3. The Tiger lose really isn't too big of a deal except that it came on the night that hall of fame broadcaster, and even a better person, Mr. Harwell lost his battle with cancer and passed away at the age of 92. There isn't a sports fans in Michigan, or of the Tigers, or baseball for that matter, that can't remember his wonderful voice and one of his many calls, in 55 years as a broadcaster, the last 42 with the Tigers, Mr. Harwell has done and see it all. The Tigers needed to win that came in honor of him, he deserved better. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family and close friends, RIP Mr. Harwell.

The Wings just stopped playing. They don't deserve it right now. Up 2-0 and you let them score with 2.5 seconds left in the 1st period, then up 3-1 going in to the 3rd, at home, and you let them tie the game, and then win it in OT. So many chances early, they had one goal taking back, after it was ruled it had been kicked in, even though Z's foot didn't leave the ice, it did look like he changed the angle on it though, then we got a Penalty shot and missed it. Then the Sharks kept battling and we just kind of coasted. Down two games to none, now 3, you can't coast. You need to play 60 minutes hard. The Wings still haven't done that, and that is why they are down 3-0, and lost each game by one goal, 4-3. I still believe they are the better team and could win this series, but they need to play hard for a full 60 minutes, and right now they are not. The Sharks want it more, and they deserve it right now. The Wings need to take Thursday, and then Steel one on Saturday in SJ. If you can win game 6 at home, then you put the pressure back on them to not lose game 7 at home, when they were up 3-0. But a lot of things have to happen before we get there. I would love to say that I see them doing it, but after last night I think they are done. This team just doesn't have the attitude it needs to win. They win last night, you are right back to where you want to be, hold serve at home and go back to SJ tied at 2. But it was not to be. Unless things change quickly I will be shaving my beard very fast, most likely even Thursday night, after the game. Now we will really see what they are made of.

Real quick about the whole taser fan thing. If you want to taser a fan that gets on the feild that's fine with me, here is what isn't. Don't show it. The proper way to deal with it is just switch to another camera shot, and have the announcers talk about some idiot on the field.. don't show them, don't talk about them anymore then that, why? because then more people do it. What happened all day yesterday on every talk radio show, every talking head, they talked about the taser, was it right to taser him, should we use tasers, should we not, and then of course, what happened... last night someone else in the same stadium got on the field. Just don't give it attention, and less drunker idiots will do it. I'm right, you're wrong.
