Two games on the road, two 4-3 losses. Each a little different, but each with some of the same problems. The two biggest, face offs, and penalty's. A goal in each game for the Sharks has been scored on a 5 on 3. In game one it was 3 goals in 1:19, and then the Sharks held on for a 4-3 win. Last night, the Wings scored first, Sharks answered with two, Wings came back with two, then down 3-2 going in to the 3rd the Sharks basically were in a power play for the entire 3rd period, and scored two more, to win 4-3. The last one was on a 2 on 1, that was set up when Lindstrom broke his stick at the blue line on a blast. Tough one to lose.
The Wings are now 0-3 on Sunday in the playoffs. But the Wings are coming home for two games in the Joe on Tuesday and Thursday. Their task is simple, win them both. If they win them both, they are fine, and should win the series, but if they lose either one of them, they have no room for error and a lot of work ahead of them. I still have faith in them, but time is running out. Tuesday night is a must win, and I believe, just like game 7 against PHX the Wings will be ready.
Other then that yesterday was a great sports day. The Tigers won 5-1 with a dominate performance by Justin Verlander. The Cubs won 10-5, plus the Pens lost. The Hawks dominated the Bucks, who I was not jumping on their bandwagon, I like Josh Smith. D wills did all he could and showed why he is the best pg in the NBA IMO, but he just doesn't have any help. Kobe did what he had to the last few minutes but the Lakers could win without him, considering how bang up the Jazz are.
Lots of other sports news happened this weekend too, Tiger missed a cut, so what, he will be fine, the Derby, that d bag won for the 3rd time in 4 years, I can't stand him, and the Money Mayweather-Sugar Shane fight, I didn't see it, but I guess Mayweather did what he had to do. The dude talks about of junk, but when you are 41-0, you can. I'm right, you're wrong
